Privacy Policy

This policy describes what AranLabz ("we," "us") collects and how we use it, across aranlabz.com and our WhatsApp messaging service. We've written it in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, email us at hello@aranlabz.com and we'll clarify or fix it.

The website

aranlabz.com does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party trackers of any kind. We don't know who visits this site beyond what's visible in our hosting provider's own server logs (standard access logs — IP address, requested page, timestamp — used only for security and uptime troubleshooting, not for tracking individuals across sessions).

The contact form

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. That information is sent through our email delivery provider, Resend, directly to our inbox as an email — we do not store form submissions in a database. We use it only to respond to your inquiry, and we don't share it with anyone else or use it for marketing without your separate consent.

WhatsApp messaging

If you message our WhatsApp number, we receive that message through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. Today, messages are used only to generate an automated acknowledgment reply and are logged on our server for operational and debugging purposes — we do not use message content for advertising, and it is not sold or shared with third parties.

As we build out AI-assisted features, any processing of message content will continue to be used solely to operate and improve the service you've asked for, and we'll update this policy before that changes in any material way. We do not currently offer zero-retention data handling as a guarantee — if that matters for how you plan to use the service, contact us before relying on it as a compliance commitment.

WhatsApp messaging for client businesses

AranLabz also operates as a WhatsApp Tech Provider: some WhatsApp Business numbers running on our systems belong to client businesses who have connected their own WhatsApp Business Account to us, rather than to AranLabz itself. In that case, messages sent to a client's number are received and processed by us on that client's behalf, using the same infrastructure and data-handling practices described above.

We do not access, use, or share a client's message data beyond what's needed to operate the service on their behalf, and we do not use it for advertising or to train AI models. Each client relationship is covered by its own data processing terms with that business, separate from this policy.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run this site and service: Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, and email routing), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform (for WhatsApp messaging). Each processes data only as needed to provide their respective service to us, under their own privacy and security practices.

Data retention & deletion

We keep contact-form-related emails and WhatsApp operational logs only as long as needed to respond to you and operate the service. If you'd like your data deleted — from either the contact form or WhatsApp messaging — email hello@aranlabz.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes materially, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. We won't quietly narrow your privacy protections without telling you.

AranLabz Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference ZC211551.
